Pets of the Week: Spirited Skadi and Elin

Dec. 17, 2025: Rescued from an abandoned Bronx parking lot, these two adorable kittens have come a long way from their tough start. Playful, affectionate, and deeply bonded, Skadi and Elin bring double the love and entertainment into their home.
Elin (medium hair) is the ultimate cuddly cat. She loves snuggling up with her favorite people and happily soaks up all the attention and love she can get. With her calm, easygoing personality, she’s a perfect fit for a peaceful home. Her favorite things are cozy naps, gentle pets, and being held, as well as spending quality time with her family.
Skadi (short hair) is Elin’s playful and spirited sister. She was initially shy, but with time and love, she has blossomed into the most loving girl who enjoys running around, playtime, and cozy cuddle sessions. She loves affection but prefers a calm environment where she can come to you on her own terms.
They are bonded together and complement each other's personalities perfectly. They love chasing toy mice, pouncing on springs, and going after treats tossed their way. The sisters are well-socialized with other cats and love interacting with their humans but would do best in a quieter home without small children or dogs.
They are currently being fostered in Southern Connecticut but are ready to travel to their loving forever home!
