UNIQUE “You Have a Choice” Show for Neurodiverse Audiences is on March 14

Feb. 26, 2026: Concordia Conservatory, in partnership with Orchestra Lumos, continues its 25-26 UNIQUE Series with You Have a Choice, an interactive, sensory-friendly show designed especially for neurodiverse individuals of all ages, their families, and caregivers.

The show will be presented on:

10:00 am    The Reformed Church of Bronxville (180 Pondfield Road) 1:00 pm       Concordia Conservatory Stamford (884 Newfield Avenue)

Written by Conservatory faculty member Rami Vamos and hosted by Tommy Schrider, the performance features Concordia Conservatory faculty Heather Bixler (violin), Annette Espada (cello), and Yousif Sheronick (percussion), along with Orchestra Lumos artist Chad Smith (saxophone and clarinet).

You Have a Choice explores the many decisions musicians make, what notes to play, how loud, how fast, and invites audiences to make choices of their own. Listeners will be encouraged to decide what to focus on, how to respond, and even how to move. Designed to be welcoming, this interactive concert creates a supportive environment where participation is encouraged and every response is valued.

The UNIQUE Series reflects Concordia Conservatory’s ongoing commitment and mission to accessibility and inclusion in the arts, offering meaningful live music experiences tailored specifically for neurodiverse individuals and their families.

The Bronxville Public Library traces its origins back to 1875, when it was a small lending library housed in a room attached to the “Bronxville Model School.” The Library was officially chartered in 1906 and moved into the Village Hall Building. The needs of the library grew with the town and, in 1942, a new standalone building was erected, which is where the Library is today. Over the years, the Library was renovated and expanded to meet the needs of the community.

The Library has wonderful resources for adults and children and offers a comfortable and relaxing environment. The Library also houses a fine art collection, consisting principally of Bronxville painters and sculptors.

The Library offers special events, art exhibitions, and programs for adults, young adults and children. All events are open to the public, unless otherwise indicated.
