Concordia Conservatory Announces Open Auditions for Its Annual Holiday Community Musical

Sept. 15, 2026: Concordia Conservatory will hold auditions open to performers ages 8 and older for its 27th Annual Holiday Community Musical, The Time They Canceled Christmas, an original musical by Greg Suss and Charles duChateau. Open auditions will take place:
-Bronxville: Sunday, September 20 3:00–5:00 p.m.
Now in its 27th year, Concordia Conservatory's tuition-free Holiday Community Musical brings together children, teens, and adults from throughout the region, celebrating creativity, community, and the joy of live performance. Performers of all experience levels are encouraged
to audition.
"Our Holiday Community Musical has become a treasured tradition because it gives people of all ages the opportunity to share the stage and create something truly meaningful together," said Kathleen Suss, Executive Director of Concordia Conservatory. "The Time They Canceled Christmas is an uplifting story that reminds us of the importance of standing up for what is right, preserving hope, and celebrating the traditions that bring us together."
Set in both the present-day North Pole and the Massachusetts Bay Colony of 1659, The Time They Canceled Christmas imagines the extraordinary events that saved Christmas—and how Santa Claus found Mrs. Claus.
