Jan. 21, 2026: La Maison Bronxville is a newly opened classic French Bistro at 7 Pondfield Road in Bronxville (914-222-9016).
It is owned by Spencer Pingel, who also owns the very popular La Casa Bronxville next door. La Maison Bronxville, which serves French cuisine, is a welcome addition to the Bronxville dining scene!
You enter the restaurant into a charming main dining room, complete with an inviting bar. The tables are topped with parchment paper, and the seating is comfortable with bamboo and rattan bistro chairs, all set on a tiled floor. You can also eat in a smaller adjacent room. Both La Maison and La Casa share a kitchen, which is under the supervision of the creative Chef, Erik Lopez.
We began our meal with Salade d'Endives, an attractive presentation of pears, walnuts, and blue cheese, and Escargots in garlic butter with tasty French bread. La Maison also serves a rich and flavorful Soupe à l'Oignon.

Our main courses were spot-on. We had the Moules Frites in a saffron chorizo sauce and caramelized onions. This dish can also be ordered in a white wine sauce. The French fries were delicious, as was the French bread. Other noteworthy mains were Saumon Grilleé with a crispy crust, Ratatouille Provençal, Vegetarian stew in a robust sauce, Poulet Roti. Steak Frites and Salade Nicoise.
Dessert is a must-have, and there are quite a few choices, including an excellent Tarte Tatin, a perfect Creme Brulee, which two can enjoy, Gateau Mousse au Chocolate, and a Petit Sundae.
La Maison is open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday. Below are the hours.
