BLUE MOON MEXICAN CAFE

The Manager of Blue Moon Mexican Cafe, Dave Vazquez, describes the food as Tex-Mex fare, an example of which is the Blue Moon Fajitas, consisting of steak, chicken, shrimp or vegetables with sautéed peppers and onions with refried beans and rice, served with warm tortillas.
The menu is quite large with a variety of Appetizers, Dinner Entrees, Dinner Salads, Combination Platters and Burgers. Of course, there is delicious home- made guacamole, sangria and margaritas.
Fiesta Hour (Happy Hour)! Fiesta Hour is served at the bar Mon. - Thurs 4 to 7pm and Fri. 3 to 7pm. Fiesta Hour specials include: Beer, Margaritas, Sangria and Mixed Drinks. You can order Fiesta Hour Appetizers: Nachos, Taquitos and Cheese Quesadillas.
Ladies Night: Every Thursday (7pm to close) is a special ladies night featuring specially priced: skinny margaritas, house margaritas and sangria.
Turn your next party into a Fiesta at Blue Moon Mexican Cafe. Blue Moon is happy to host a party at their location or cater the party at your home or office. Blue Moon also offers daily free local delivery for lunch and dinner.
An incentive to eat there is the Blue Bucks Loyalty Card, where you can earn 1 point for every dollar spent, with 200 points earning the customer a $10 gift card. The points never expire and you sign up for a card on their website.
Another perk is to park across the street at the new Kensington Garage. Blue Moon will reimburse customers for up to one hour of parking. You simply submit your receipt to your server.

THE BURRITO POBLANO

The Burrito Poblano serves authentic Mexican food in a casual setting, The restaurant has just expanded into the store next door. It has been in Tuckahoe for almost eighteen years, and the renovations have taken six months to complete.
Owned by Gilberto Garcia, it is family run with his wife, Mirybel, the competent chef in the kitchen turning out home-made Pico de Gallo, Tortilla Chips and Guacamole, etc. A most welcome perk is the complimentary pico de gallo and tortilla chips that are served to you when you are seated.
The Burrito Poblano's menu includes: Appetizers, Salads, Tacos, Quesadillas, Enchiladas, Chimichanga's, Burrito's, Platillos Mexicanos and a variety of Shrimp dishes. The most popular customer choices are the Burritos, Tacos and Enchiladas with green sauce.

LA CHINITA POBLANA

La Chinita Poblana Mexican restaurant serves authentic home-made Mexican food in a cozy colorful setting. The owners, Juan Aguilar and Jesus Aguilar, have created the atmosphere to resemble a typical restaurant in Mexico. You really feel that you are in Mexico when dining here.
The extensive menu includes: Starters, Salads, Soups, Antojitos...which includes Tacos, Nachos, Huaraches and Enchiladas....along with a variety of Traditional Mexican Entrees.
The most popular Entrees are: Pato en Mole Poblano (oven roasted half duck in Mole sauce); Mariscada (seafood stew) and Camarones al Tequilla (pan seared shrimp).
Popular Starters include: The tableside Guacamole, the Salpicon de Jaiba (crabmeat) and the Choriqueso (Mexican sausage).

RANCHO GRANDE

This spacious restaurant, serving Mexican food, has been located in Yonkers for ten years. There is a side dining area with windows, a large square bar with seating all around and a stage, and a large dining room in the back. A focal point in the bar is a large stone pyramid filled with Mexican artifacts. Original Mexican artwork and more artifacts can be seen throughout.
The extensive menu offers:
Appetizers: Specialty of the House table-side Guacamole, Quesadillas, Salads, Soups
Main Dishes: Steaks from the Grill, Fajitas, House Specialties, Seafood, Vegetarian Dishes and Combinaciones (platters of 3 tacos, Chimichanga, cheese quesadilla, cheese chili relleno, beef burrito or tostada)...all served with rice and beans. House specialties are featured on the weekends.
The restaurant also has a Happy Hour Sun. to Fri. from 4 to 7.
A complimentary appetizer, such as buffalo wings, is served when a customer orders two drinks.
Live Entertainment on the Weekends!
On Fridays, a mariachi band plays from 8 to 11pm, followed by a DJ
On Saturdays a singer performs from 9 to 11pm, followed by a DJ until closing.
Rancho Grande is owned by Mary Maloney and overseen by the competent Manager, Jose Perez.

VEGA

Vega is a sleek, contemporary restaurant that has been in Hartsdale for seven years. Vega prides itself in serving traditional Mexican food with a modern twist. Everything is home cooked with a lot of healthy options.
They work with local farms when possible to use organic ingredients, for example organic chickens. Vega is also one of the first restaurants in Westchester to go green by using paper bags instead of plastic for takeout orders and they now use a digital payment option.
Their menu offers Small Plates, Soups and Salads, Signature Dishes and Classic Mexican dishes. Every weekend there are specials on the menu and they offer Holiday specials for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Cinco de Maya to name a few. All of their margaritas are made with fresh lime, agave (organic sweetener) and of course Tequila. There are a variety of tequilas from which to choose.
Vega offers an extensive tequila list with a variety of 65+ which includes tequila and mezcal.
Happy Hour is popular here from 4:00 to 7:00pm daily
Reverse Happy Hour is Thursday through Saturdays from 10:00pm to midnight.
During Happy Hour you can order Appetizer Specialties like guacamole or salsa with chips, wings, coconut shrimp, fried calamari, nachos and avocado fritters for lower prices as well.
The bar has seating for fifteen people and there is seating on the floor at tables and chairs or banquettes for another eighty-four people.
