Bronxville Police Blotter: April 20 to April 26, 2016

Wednesday, April 20, Kraft Avenue, 11:45 am: A 39-year-old Mount Vernon resident had his right forearm struck by the passenger side mirror of a 1998 Buick that was traveling northbound on Kraft Avenue. The 88-year-old driver remained on the scene, was interviewed by police officers, and passed a blood alcohol content test. The pedestrian was transported to Lawrence Hospital via EVAC for complaints of pain.
Friday, April 21: A victim reported that her credit card had been stolen from Lawrence Hospital and had been used at several locations in the White Plains area on April 9. After assistance from hospital security identifying the suspect from surveillance video of the purchases, a 39-year-old resident of White Plains was charged with grand larceny in the 4th degree (class E felony). He was arraigned by Bronxville Justice George McKinnis and released on his own recognizance pending his next court appearance.
Monday, April 24, 2:09 am: Police Officer Dennis Karaman charged a 25-year-old man from Yonkers with DWI after he was stopped for insufficient headlights. He refused to submit to a blood alcohol content test and was released to his father after processing.
Wednesday, April 26, 9:49 am, Greenfield Avenue: There was a motor vehicle accident between two cars. There were no injuries. An information exchange was completed.
