Bronxville Police Blotter: April 28 to May 4, 2016

Thursday, April 28, 11:48 pm: A female homeowner on White Plains Road reported that she had observed a male rummaging through her 2015 Mercedes Benz SUV, which was parked in the driveway. The male ran off when the motion light illuminated. Nothing was stolen and police were unable to locate the suspect.
Friday, April 29, 12:59 am, Sussex Avenue: Police Officer Cheryl Jarosz charged a 36-year-old man from Mount Vernon with unlawful possession of marijuana as a result of an investigation into the unregistered and uninsured vehicle he was operating. The 1997 Nissan was impounded and he was released on his own recognizance pending his next court appearance.
Friday, April 29, 8:57 pm, Pondfield Road: Police responded to a verbal dispute over a parking space. The 24-year-old male complainant reported that the unknown second male had spit into his car window and then fled the scene.
Monday, May 2, 7:42 am, Oakledge Road: A Bronxville Department of Public Works employee was bitten by a neighborhood dog while performing his duties. The dog was up to date with its shots.
Monday, May 2, 11:11 am, Palmer Avenue: There was a two-car motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported. An information exchange was completed.
Wednesday, May 4, 9:05 am, Sagamore Road: There was a two-car motor vehicle accident. There were no injuries. An information exchange was completed.
