Tuesdays in April, 2026, 3:15 - 4:00 PM: Drop-in Tech Help at the Bronxville Library in the Front Reading Room: A Bronxville High School student will be on hand to offer personalized help with things like navigating your smartphone and downloading apps, sending and receiving emails or text messages, downloading ebooks and audiobooks, organizing your photos, social media, and more. Please bring your device with you, along with any passwords you may need to access your accounts. No appointment necessary. First come, first served.

April 6, 2026: No School at the Bronxville School due to fewer than four snow days this year.
April 9, 2026, 7:00PM - 8:30PM: Adda Bozeman Lecture: In Conversation: Philipp Nielsen, History faculty and Marci Shore, University of Toronto. Historians Shaping History: International Relations, Politics and Memory in Eastern Europe. This is a hybrid event, meaning you can attend in person or by zoom. Advance registration is required. For those attending virtually, you will receive link and further details twenty-four hours before the event. April 11, 2026: BXV Racquet Sports Kickoff Party. Join the Bronxville racquet sports community for the BXV Racquet Sports Kickoff Event on Saturday, April 11 from 10 AM to 2 PM at 5 Garden Avenue.The event will feature free pickleball open play, tennis clinics, and an opportunity to meet the new BXV racquet sports team. Players of all levels are welcome to attend and help celebrate the start of the spring racquet sports season at Bronxville Village Courts. Paddle sport permits for the spring season are now available online at www.BXVracquetsports.com.

April 16-17, 2026: Expertise, Artificial Intelligence, and the Work of the Future; The Gabelli Center for Teaching & Learning at Iona University is having its second conference, The Future of Work. David Autor, the Daniel and Gail Rubinfeld Professor in Economics at MIT, will deliver a keynote on “Expertise, Artificial Intelligence, and the Work of the Future.” A full day of presentations from Iona faculty and business leaders will follow on April 17 as we explore institutional innovations that can complement technological change.
