Did You Know that the Village of Bronxville Has a Revised Bulk Waste Pickup Program?

Feb. 25, 2026: The Village of Bronxville commenced a revised bulk waste pickup program in 2026.
Bulk waste in Bronxville is now collected during your second garbage pickup of each week at no cost. No request is necessary. There is no pickup on federal holidays.

Additionally, the Village reserves the right to refuse pick-up of any items exceeding the size or capacity of its waste collection vehicles. Bulky waste pickup is intended to collect a limited number of items. Residents who have multiple items should consider contacting a waste disposal company.
Items Not Accepted
The following items are NOT accepted.
-Car Batteries
-Tires
-Building Materials
-Bath Tubs
-Water Heaters Boilers
-Iron
-Steel
-Propane Tanks
-Concrete
-Stone
-Organic Waste
-Wood Construction Debris (including wood, bricks, plumbing fixtures, tiles, windows, window frames, sheetrock, etc.)

Items Picked Up During the Second Week of the Month
The following items are only picked up during the second week of the month.
-TVs,
-Computers
-Computer Monitors
-Refrigerators (freon removed)*
-Air Conditioners (freon removed)*
-Washer/Dryers
Electronics and other E-waste can also be disposed of on one of the Village’s Take Back Days. The next Take Back Day is scheduled for Saturday, May 30th!
*Note: For help with removing Freon visit Westchester County's website. Additionally, any questions about removing Freon should be directed to Westchester County.
Hazardous household items can also be disposed of at one of the County’s Household Chemical Clean up Days or by scheduling an appointment at their Valhalla drop-off site which can be found here: Valhalla Drop Off Site
Recycling – Remains on Wednesday as usual
-All cardboard is considered "recycling" and will be collected with your regular recycling.
-All items should be placed at curbside after dusk the night before or by 7 am the morning of the scheduled pick-up. Please ensure that all items are properly secured. Cardboard that cannot fit inside a recycling bin should be flattened and tied in a bundle to reduce the likelihood items will be blown into the street.
Other Information
-There is no pickup on federal holidays.
-Please be mindful of the limited resources of the Village sanitation team. When placing items out for collection, please note that multiple items may need to be set out and collected over the course of several weeks, rather than all at once.
