This year’s team returned 21 players including 15 seniors from last year.
The Broncos ended the regular season with an overall record of 11-3-2 and finished 2nd in league play. They are seeded No. 5 in Class B out of a field of 13 Class B teams.
Last week, the boys’ soccer team defeated Eastchester (1-0) and Albertus Magnus (7-0) and tied Irvington (0-0). Keio and Blind Brook are the top-ranked teams in Class B.
The Broncos, led by Captains Miles Jernigan, Austin Waggoner, and Dimitri Hanjis, have scored 41 goals and given up 16 during the regular season. Thirteen different players scored goals this season including Kane Christian (12G/5A), Sam Becker (10G,1A), and Dimitri Hanjis (5G, 8A).
The defense is anchored by keeper Miles Jernigan and center back Austin Waggoner.
The soccer team will play Pawling on Saturday in the first round of playoffs. In 2023, the 6th-seeded Broncos defeated Hastings in the first round and lost to Croton 1-0 in the quarterfinals.

Ladas is leading in team goals, and Kara Kochansky has been stellar at center back. Henningson, Byrne and Villanueva have been very solid in the midfield.
The brackets for the playoffs should be available later today, and the Broncos first round game will be at home on Monday. The Broncos lost 1-0 to Briarcliff in the Class B semifinals last year.

Campbell Molloy and Ellie Garofalo are the captains this year and hold the team together on the defensive line. Juniors Sabrina Presant and Izzy Yeon drive the Bronco offense, and junior goalkeepers Eva Klessel and Michaela Doheny have held off many opponents this season.
The quarterfinals will take place on Tuesday, October 29th. The Broncos lost 4-0 to Putnam Valley in the Sectional Semifinals last year.
