April 15, 2026: After a wonderful team-bonding spring training experience at Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports, Bronxville staged a tremendous 13-12 comeback victory after facing a 10-0 deficit against Eastchester on Tuesday, April 7th.

Eastchester has a strong lineup and got off to a strong start in the game; however, the Broncos were able to score 10 runs in the 5th inning that gave the Broncos a 13-12 lead heading into the 6th inning. The Broncos held onto the lead in the final two innings and achieved their first win of the season.
Bronxville’s comeback was fueled by a relentless offensive effort. The Broncos strung together a series of quality at bats and kept the line moving by drawing walks, getting timely hard and soft base hits, stealing bases, sacrificing themselves with bunts and fly balls ... and capitalizing on a few untimely errors from Eastchester.
Offensive highlights included: Jake Donnelly (BB, R, RBI); Cole Lewis (1-5, R, SB, RBI); Max Zarba (2-3, 2B, BB, SB, RBI); Jackson Crystal (2R, SB, RBI); Liam Garelik (1-2, 3R, 2B, BB, SB); Patrick Gangemi (2-3, 2R, BB, 3RBI); Cole Zarba (2R, SB, RBI); Joe Antonini (1-4, 2B, 2RBI); and Justin O'Hare (1-1, BB, R).
The three pitchers in the game were Jake Donnelly, Justin O'Hare, and Cole Lewis.
Defensively, the Broncos also had several key plays, highlighted by shortstop/pitcher Cole Lewis throwing out three Eastchester runners at the plate–two on relays from the outfield, and one on a hard ground ball with the infield in on the grass.
"This was a complete game and a great team win," commented Bronxville Head Coach Michael Schultz. "We put the bat on the ball, made timely plays, and never gave up. I am so proud of these boys and how they kept their energy up right until the end."

The Broncos, led by 2-year captain Jake Donnelly, and co-captains Max Zarba, and Jackson Crystal, play in Class A this year. They earned their second win of the season against Class B Rye Neck last Friday. In that game, pitcher Cole Lewis shined with a complete game 8-0 shutout (7IP, 2H, 2BB, 7SO).
In the game against the Panthers, six Broncos delivered two hits each including Donnelly (2-4, SB, RBI), Lewis (2-4), Crystal (2-2, 2R, 2BB, 3SB, RBI), Garelik (2-4, R, 2B, 3RBI), Will Morrisroe (2-4, R), and Gangemi (2-3, R, RBI). Joe Antonini and Max Zarba each added a hit and scored a run.
Now 2-4, Bronxville hopes to carry that positive momentum into upcoming Class A play. The Broncos will host Pelham on Friday at 4:30PM and Pearl River on Saturday at 11:00AM.
Here is the upcoming schedule.

Go Broncos.
