The Bronxville Girls team secured an impressive fourth place in Girls’ Division II and finished second among all public school girls’ teams in the championships. The team posted a stellar regular season record of 4-1 and was ranked #2 in the Girl’s Division of the Fairwest League. Under the guidance of BFC Squash Director Supreet Singh and Coach Julia LeCoq, the team consisted of seniors Petra Monogenis, Emma Yeon, Isabel Yeon (team captains), and Hannah Lescott; juniors Caroline Cregan, Camille Gautier, Maggie Miner, and Ava Toolan; sophomore Piper Pytosh; and freshmen Eliza Ferraro, Emma Glaser, and Claire O’Mara. Monogenis will be playing for the Bowdoin College women’s squash team in the fall.
“I’m proud of each one of these girls for showing up and giving everything they had on court,” said coach LeCoq. “I hope their love of squash will keep growing.”
The Bronxville Girls Varsity team was established in 2021.
