Jansen Hospice 2025 May Benefit a Beautiful and Successful Event: See Photos

June 4, 2025: Jansen Hospice’s annual May Benefit fundraiser took place on May 17th at the beautiful home of Pam and Mark Habner. Guests enjoyed gourmet passed hors d'oeuvres and pink cosmos while catching up with friends and celebrating the start of a new Spring season.
Jansen Fund Board Chair, Emily Liggitt, thanked event co-chairs Jennie Jacobs, Barbara Eustis, Amy Civale and Jennifer Siegert for their work on the May Benefit before inviting Jansen Hospice Nurse, Jean Cruz, to speak.
Jean thanked guests for their support and reminded everyone that hospice is about making the final stage of life a deeply meaningful time, “We can help families find space for connection and closure instead of being overwhelmed by medical crises. We can let someone spend their final days holding the hand of a spouse as they hear their grandchild’s laughter and watch the sunrise from the comfort of their own bedroom window. It turns what could be a time of fear into a time of peace.”
This year’s event raised record funds thanks to the Jansen Hospice Fund Board, the event co-chairs, The Habner Family and all of Jansen’s generous donors. Contributions will go towards enhancing Jansen’s patient care programs and creating meaningful time for those who are at the end stages of their live.
