Pet of the Week: Chance

May 6, 2020: Chance is a man of action. He is a five-and-a-half-year old Tennessee leader treeing walker coonhound, which is a working breed known for being gentle, affectionate, and a good choice for an active family.
Chance loves sports and play. This handsome guy is super smart, and as you can see from his picture, he is also incredibly athletic. He can swim, retrieve, and has even been known to climb a tree.
His owner has developed a progressive disability and is heartbroken that she can no longer care for him properly and give him the exercise he craves.
She described him as excellent with children, cats, and other dogs and said he is also completely housebroken. Chance has done some agility training over the years and has been an exceptional student. He would love a home where he has plenty of room to run, a canine buddy to keep him company, and a family that is willing to take him out on adventures and embrace his intrepid spirit.
This sweet and loving boy has been fully vetted and is as healthy as they come. He has also been neutered and kept up to date with his vaccinations.
