The Counseling Center Fundraiser Was a Huge Success! See Photos

May 13, 2026: Not only did the warm weather come out for The Counseling Center’s Spring Soiree, so did many of the organization’s biggest supporters.
The beautiful spring evening at the Bronxville Field Club featured student speaker Peyton Levine. Her candid speech moved many party-goers to raise a paddle to support the center’s mission of subsidizing mental health.
“In my over 12 years at the Counseling Center, I was so impressed by Peyton’s courage and authenticity in normalizing what therapy can do and was thrilled by the incredible outpouring of financial support for all we continue to do over these many years helping those in need and serving the community,” says Executive Director, Virgil Roberson.
A special thanks to the board members who planned the event, Amy Benns Brown, Lia Gravier, Alexandra Portner, and Rosie Amodio.

Iona Family Therapy Center
The Iona Family Therapy Center (IFTC) is a non-profit center which has been in operation for over 40 years. While the IFTC has traditionally been located in the heart of New Rochelle, NY, the Center has moved to Iona's new Bronxville Campus as of August 2023.
Therapists at the IFTC are graduate students from the Iona University Marriage and Family Therapy program. Therapists-in-training are supervised by Iona faculty who are Ph.D. and Master's level Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists and Clinical Members and Approved Supervisors of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
The IFTC offers affordable, responsive therapy services to individuals, children, couples and families. Using a Family Systems approach, therapists-in-training assist clients to achieve their goals in a supportive, sincere and nonjudgmental environment.
