The Bronxville Fall Sidewalk Sale will be held on Friday, October 4, and Saturday, October 5. Great bargains can be found all throughout the village. Rain or shine! Polpettina has been named one of Westchester Magazine's "Five Best Restaurants for Food and Beer." New announcements about The Junior League of Bronxville’s Touch-A-Truck Event--taking place Saturday, October 5, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Immaculate Conception School Field in Tuckahoe: Fabio’s Hair Studio will be on-site to provide Halloween hairstyles and makeup, and Bronxville Wellness Sanctuary will provide free chair massages (hey, there's gotta be something in it for the chaperones, right?) Tickets are $10 for individuals if purchased in advance ($15 at the door) or $30 for a family of four. Proceeds will support the JLB mission to help fight hunger and promote proper nutrition in its local service areas.
Peter Iacovello and Stephanie Filardi of Bronxville Wellness Sanctuary are teaching a course called Corrective Posture Clinic at the Bronxville Adult School, which will meet on Thursday, October 10, 17, and 24 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
