Halloween Happenings
Join Park 143 Bistro on Thursday, October 30, for a Halloween costume party. Ghoulish specialty cocktails will be served, a freaky fun DJ will entertain you, and prizes will be awarded to the most original costumes. The fun begins at 9:00 pm. Call 914-337-5100 for more info.
Fabio's Hair Studio's 13th annual Halloween party will take place on Friday, October 31, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. The studio will become a "spooky fantasy world" with ghosts and goblins, spider webs with fluorescent insects, and all other kinds of fun Halloween decorations. The staff at Fabio's will be doing face paint, makeup, and hair styling and will be applying temporary hair color to create an authentic look matching each kid's costume. The annual children's costume contest at Blue Moon is on Thursday, October 31. All children who dine in costume will be entered to win great prizes! 7-27 Pondfield Rd.
J. C. Fogarty's will have their annual Halloween party on October 31featuring Sugarush and cash prizes for best costumes! 60 Kraft Ave.
On Friday, October 31, Halloween night, at 5:00 pm, Dr. Sándor Szabó, minister of music and organist at The Reformed Church, will perform a short organ concert featuring a spooky selection of well-known organ music. This event is free and open to all ages. Come in costume and enjoy this festive music before or after trick-or-treating. Admission is free, and a reception will follow.
