Susan Miele: The Chamber Chatter for June 2016

By Susan Miele, Executive Director, Bronxville Chamber of Commerce
Jun. 22: 2016: The Chamber is on the move! Come see us at our new office and be sure to direct mail accordingly: Bronxville Chamber of Commerce, 51 Pondfield Road, Suite 1 (2nd floor) (at the corner of Valley Road), Bronxville, NY 10708.
The phone number remains 914-337-6040.
The moving effort drew on the talents and generosity of numerous Chamber members:
-
Nick Koutoulas and Arthur Lange of Arthur Lange, Inc. for working with us to create our new work surfaces and counters.
-
Robyn Pocker of J. Pocker & Son for offering to reframe the Chamber's historical photo prints and lend new and colorful art to the new office.
-
Peter Doty of Bronxville Painting for chipping in and painting a wall in our new office to chase away the gray and make the space more inviting to both those who use it every day and visitors alike.
-
John Lugano of Pete's Park Place Tavern, who sent Jimmy and Lukas to help us with the heavy lifting.
-
Dennis Wonder of Alta Computer Services for relocating our IT set-up.
-
Bob Krause of Mrs. Morgan's Flower Shop for storing some of our holiday supplies.
-
Several Chamber board members for long hours working to make this move possible: Lou Maggiotto of Nobile, Magarian & DiSalvo, Stephanie Weston of People's United Bank, and Fran Smith, and her partner Diana Lapins, of Hunt Woods Manor Design, LLC, whose interior design work and donated accessories transformed the empty space into a new home.
