Helping Kids
"The play space is warm and inviting and the therapists are some of the best in the business. We honestly do not know what we would do if we did not have Jumping Jax in our lives." This is just a sample glowing review about Jumping Jax Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapy, whose warm, and inviting office space on Pondfield Road welcomes families with young children. You'll love Amanda, Karinna, and Emily upon meeting them. I know, because my office used to be next door to them, and I would readily turn to them if my kids were in need of such services.
Bronxville Ballet's Special Needs class, tailored to 6-to-9-year-olds, starts October 11. The program meets twice a month on Tuesdays at The Bronxville Women's Club. The program utilizes music, movement, and assorted props to help children strengthen their cognitive skills and boost their self-esteem.
ANDRUS is hosting its annual fall festival, a fundraising family event that benefits the children it serves, on Saturday, October 15. The event will feature pumpkin decorating, face painting, carnival games, hay rides, hoola hooping, food, and more.
