Lange's Delicatessen has been in Bronxville for over thirty years serving its customers the very best specialties, and noted for their creative names of a vast selection of sandwiches. Tom Bass, the owner for the past four years indicated that "The Bronco Wrap," filled with chicken cutlet, bacon, American cheese and hot sauce is very popular with the school kids at lunch time. Also popular are the home-made mac and cheese, chicken nuggets and a wide assortment of panini's.
For a healthy lunch, a salad bar has been added where you can choose any number of ingredients to suit a variety of tastes. Lange's also has vegan and gluten free salads: Quinoa, chick pea, fruit and tomato, to name a few. You can choose from gluten free cookies and brownies for a sweet to top off lunch. Children's choices in drinks are: Arnold Palmer (ice tea and lemonade), ice coffee and tea and lemonade.
Catering is a large part of Lange's business of any size and they deliver within the Bronxville area. For those who do not want to cook there are hot choices daily for dinner, such as: Salisbury steak, Lasagna rolls, Chicken Scarpariello, Italian Meatballs and Beef Stew....served with yellow rice or some other carbohydrate.
Hours of operation: Mon. to Sat. 5:30am to 7:00pm and Sun. 6:00am to 4:30pm. There is something for everyone to enjoy eating at this very popular Bronxville institution.

Dobbs & Bishop Fine Cheese, Gourmet Foods, Party Platters and Gift Baskets, co-owned by Kevin McNeill and his wife, Ruth Walter, has been a go to destination for eight years in downtown Bronxville for the Back To School children. The favorites to eat at lunch time are their mac and cheese, grilled cheese sandwiches on white or multi-grain bread and yummy lemonade. There are about eight different kinds of grilled cheese with the most popular one being the Tapas Melt, featuring manchego cheese with a rosemary rind, fig jam and speck (smoked Prosciutto). They also have cold sandwiches on mini baguettes every day that are classic vegetarian (brie, fig jam and arugula) or with meat such as (prosciutto, cheddar cheese and mustard) being the most popular. Another staple for lunch is their creative soups which are offered daily
They purchase their bread, pastries, croissants and scones (plain, cranberry or oatmeal raisin) from Baltazar, the well-known purveyor of baked goods. Some new items in the store are: Healing Home Foods, locally from Pound Ridge, in the form of healthy crackers and granola, which are also gluten- free. Pickled Pink is a new collection of food in jars such as "Smok'in Okra," "Sweet Heat Jalapenos, " and "Perfectly Pickled Peaches."
Some new cheeses are also featured: Womanchego, more buttery than regular manchego and Myfanwy, a sharp-tasting hard cows’ milk, both from Cato Corner Farm in Colchester, Ct. Also available are their "Cheese of the Month Club" that ships nationwide. They are known for their platters of charcuterie and cheese which start at $40 and their Gift Baskets, which are custom designed by the customer and start at $25.
