Pet of the Week: Trudy

Apr. 16, 2014: Trudy is practically perfect in every way.
If you are looking for an amazing family pet, look no further. Trudy loves everyone and everything. She is housebroken and sleeps through the night, she is excellent on a leash, and she knows her basic commands.
Trudy wants nothing more than to be a part of a family. Wherever there is action, that is where you will find Trudy. She wants to be involved in all aspects of family life. She will sit at your feet while you are cooking breakfast, will follow you to the front door as you leave to begin your day, and will be waiting for you in the same place the moment you arrive home. If you are reading your book, she will be right next to you enjoying your company. If you have something to say, she will be hanging on your every word. And when you are done for the day, Trudy will happily retire to her dog bed on the floor of your bedroom.
Little Miss Sunshine will most definitely brighten your day. She brings happiness wherever she goes. Trudy is confident but not bossy, playful but not hyper. She loves to go for walks and rides in the car. According to her foster family, she has a wonderful temperament and any family will be lucky to get her.
Trudy is in good health, has been spayed, and is up to date with all of her vaccinations. Her adoption donation is $250.
If you would like to meet Trudy, please visit the Pet Rescue website at www.NY-PetRescue.org and fill out an application. Pet Rescue requests that applications be completed before introductions to the dogs are made. If you mention that you learned about Trudy through MyhometownBronxville, it will help expedite the adoption process.
If you are not ready to adopt, Pet Rescue is always looking for foster families. Puppies, kittens, dogs, and cats of all breeds, sizes, and ages are available for fostering. Pet Rescue provides all of the necessary supplies and veterinary care. All you need to do is open your heart and your home to these amazing furry friends.
