Letter Thanking Bronxville Chamber of Commerce for Extraordinary Work in December

Jan. 14, 2026
Dear Bronxville Community,
As we welcome the new year and reflect on the 2025 holiday season, we would like to take a moment to thank the Bronxville Chamber of Commerce for the extraordinary work they did to make December such a special time of warmth and cheer in our village.
The Chamber's thoughtful planning and coordination truly made Bronxville a special place to be home for the holidays, Many of you have commented on the new lighting they designed that created such a festive mood in the down town and set the stage for the activities that marked the season. The Junior League Stocking Stroll at the beginning of the month energized local shopping and highlighted the importance of supporting Bronxville's merchants. The free holiday parking the Chamber coordinated made it easier for residents and visitors alike to enjoy the village during the busiest time of year.
The third annual Christmas on Kraft was a huge hit, starting with PJs at the Picture House, hot chocolate and treats, with the arrival of Santa, and finally the tree lighting all bringing families and neighbors together. Our state champion Broncos Football team turned out in full force for the event, which was a thrill for all of us and helped make the tree lighting even more festive. Even Santa was excited! The Menorah lighting at Leonard Morange Park, seasonal markets, performances, and cultural events hosted by local organizations, all supported by the Chamber — helped weave together a truly inclusive and joyful December. And throughout the month, who could forget the many appearances of Elllie the Elf ( and Clyde) dropping in on our shops and businesses to highlight the Importance of shopping local!
The warmth, vibrancy, and sense of togetherness felt throughout the village this holiday season were a direct result of the Chamber's dedication and tireless efforts. A huge thank you to Executive Director Leslie Corcoran and the leadership of the Chamber for all they do to support our merchants, strengthen our community and to make Bronxville such a wonderful place to live, work, and celebrate.
With appreciation,
Helen Knapp,
Liaison to the Chamber of Commerce, on behalf of the Bronxville Board of Trustees
