2020 Election: Preliminary Results in Westchester County
By Staff
Nov. 4, 2020: After long lines during early voting, voting in Bronxville on election day, November 3rd, was an easy process. There were short lines when the polls opened at 6 am, but by 8 am, there were no lines at the three local voting locations, which was mostly true throughout the day.
As of this morning, the result of the Presidential Election is still too close to call with Joe Biden at 224 electoral votes and Donald Trump at 214, and many votes still to be counted in a number of battleground and other states.
On the local level, the unofficial tally of results as of 7:30 am this morning is below. The caveat to these results is that, according to the Westchester Board of Election website, "on election night one or more districts may not report their results" and "some of the absentee votes may not be available for inclusion in the unofficial tally."
