Bronxville Police Blotter: October 1 to October 12, 2013

Tuesday, Oct. 1: A Crown Circle resident reported that her car was forcibly entered (broken window) while parked in the driveway sometime between 11:00 pm on October 1 and 5:30 am on October 2. Stolen from within the vehicle was the owner's purse.
Saturday, Oct 5: At 11:43 am a 65-year-old Mount Vernon resident was charged with driving with a suspended registration while driving his vehicle on Palmer Avenue. He was directed to appear in the Justice Court of Bronxville on 10/16/2013.
Sunday, Oct. 6: At 9:22 pm the police department received a call about a suspicious male looking into vehicles in the Kensington Road parking lot. A check of the area revealed no suspects and no damage to any of the vehicles.
Sunday, Oct. 6: At 11:09 pm the police department as well as Tuckahoe Police received numerous calls of gunshots being fired in the area of White Plains Road and Concordia Place. A check of the area by both police departments revealed no suspects and no evidence of gunfire.
Tuesday, Oct. 8: At 10:06 am a 26-year-old Queens resident was charged with driving with a suspended registration while driving his vehicle on Pondfield Road. He was directed to appear in the Justice Court of Bronxville on 10/16/2013.
Tuesday, Oct. 8: At 10:26 am a 61-year-old Yonkers resident was charged with driving with a suspended registration while driving his vehicle on Pondfield Road. She was directed to appear in the Justice Court of Bronxville on 10/16/2013.
Tuesday, Oct. 8: At 8:58 pm police were called to Midland Gardens on report of an intoxicated subject in need of assistance. The subject was located and left in the care of his girlfriend.
Thursday, Oct. 10: A Summit Avenue resident reported that sometime between 10/10 at 10:00 pm and 10/11 at 7:15 am her unlocked motor vehicle was entered while parked in the driveway. Stolen from within the vehicle was a computer printer and personal documents.
Saturday, Oct. 12: Sometime between 10/12 at 6:00 pm and 10/13 at 9:00 am a tennis court at the Garden Avenue tennis center was defaced by etching a picture of male genitalia on the court with an unknown sharp object.
