Karen Buccheri, Assistant to the Village Clerk of Bronxville, Honored by State Association

Dec. 4, 2013: Karen Buccheri, assistant to the village clerk of Bronxville, has been awarded certification as a registered municipal clerk (RMC) by the New York State Association of City and Village Clerks for achieving its high educational, experience, and participatory requirements.
Ms. Buccheri, who has been employed by the Village of Bronxville in her current position as assistant to the village clerk for over six years, has been active in the New York State Association of City and Village Clerks.
The certification program was launched in 1997. The program aids municipal clerks and deputy clerks in improving job performance and recognizes the professionalism of the municipal clerk's office.
Stringent education and experience requirements must be met before this prestigious designation of registered municipal clerk is awarded. Qualifications of applicants are reviewed and approved by the NYSACVC Registered Municipal Clerk Certification Committee.
The New York State Association of City and Village Clerks was founded in 1908 and currently has a membership of over 600 members across New York State. The association provides a medium for the exchange of ideas and experiences while working to enhance the professional service it renders to elected officials and the communities that it serves.
