'Living History' Interviews with Noted Bronxville Citizens: Quilt Artist Randy Frost

By Marcia Lee, Host, A Living History of Bronxville
Jul. 22, 2015: From 1991 to 2006, 123 residents of Bronxville were interviewed by former mayor Marcia Lee for the cable TV program A Living History of Bronxville. Each interview ran approximately 45 minutes on air and covered the person's service to the community, his or her professional accomplishments, and his or her family background.
This interview is of longtime Bronxville resident Randy Frost, an award-winning quilt artist. She was born in and raised in the outskirts of Elizabeth, New Jersey. Randy received a bachelor of fine arts degree in graphic design from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1959. In this interview, we learn how she became interested in quilt making and what previous studies led to it. The interview takes place right in her studio, which was designed by her husband architect, A. Corwin Frost ("Corky"). Here we can see how she goes about creating and stitching together a quilt.
