Bronxville Police Blotter: August 27 to September 2, 2015

Thursday, August 27, 5:17 pm: Police Officers assisted an Empress EMT with an intoxicated patient at the Lawrence Hospital emergency room who was physically combative inside the ambulance. It was reported that the 52-year-old male Yonkers resident struck the EMT in the face with a closed fist while being restrained in the back of the ambulance. The EMT did not have any signs of a physical injury and did not wish to pursue criminal charges.
Friday, August 28, 5:53 pm: On Gramatan Avenue, as a result of a license plate reader alarm, Police Officer Dennis Karaman charged a 21-year-old male from Scarsdale with a suspended registration, operating without insurance, and operating an unregistered vehicle. The man was processed on the scene and released with an appearance ticket pending his next court date. The 2013 Dodge Avenger he was operating was impounded.
Saturday, August 29, 3:12 am: In the Avalon lot, there was a noise complaint. The complaint was unfounded.
Saturday, August 29, 3:40 pm: On Forest Lane, a motor vehicle accident occurred between two vehicles. There were no injuries. An information exchange was completed.
Sunday, August 30, 1:09 pm: On Avon Road, items valued at approximately $4,000 were reported missing from a residence. The incident is under investigation.
Sunday, August 30, 1:47 pm: In the Garden Avenue lot, a motor vehicle accident took place between two vehicles. There were no injuries. An information exchange was completed.
Sunday, August 30, 3:43 pm: On Avon Road, an alarm was activated caused by unknown means. The homeowner was issued an appearance ticket for violating the Bronxville Village code because there was no alarm permit.
Sunday, August 30, 4:30 pm: At CVS on Pondfield Road, the manager of CVS reported that three black males had entered the store at 15:23 hours and took numerous bottles of Nexium and Prilosec medication valued at approximately $500. The suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction. The incident is under investigation.
Monday, August 31, 9:22 am: At A'Mangiare restaurant on Palmer Avenue, it was reported that the establishment was entered overnight and ransacked. A rear window was found open but undamaged. The incident is under investigation.
Monday, August 31, 6:59 pm: At Lawrence Hospital, a 45-year-old female Mount Vernon resident reported her wallet stolen. It was later returned to her intact by a third party who reported finding it.
Monday, August 31, 8:39 pm: A debit card found on Park Place was turned in to the desk officer at police headquarters. The card owner was contacted and it was returned.
Monday, August 31, 11:52 pm: A black wallet found on Park Place containing credit cards and cash was turned in to the desk officer. Officers were unable to contact the owner. It was vouchered for safekeeping.
Tuesday, September 1, 5:44 pm: On Cedar Street, a motor vehicle accident occurred between two vehicles. There were no injuries. An information exchange was completed.
Wednesday, September 2, 7:11 am: On Tanglewylde Avenue, a 2015 Honda was entered overnight. The front passenger window was broken and a white lunch bag was stolen.
