Wednesday, Nov. 11, 11:09 am: A backpack containing a checkbook was stolen at Gillard's Stationery. The incident is pending investigation.
Thursday, Nov. 12, 12:24 am, Tanglewylde Avenue: A motor vehicle accident occurred between two vehicles. There were no injuries. The drivers exchanged information on their own.
Thursday, Nov. 12, 4:06 pm, Concordia College: A college sign was damaged by a red pickup truck. The value of the sign is unknown. The incident is pending investigation.
Saturday, Nov. 14, 9:01 am, Pondfield Road: A homeowner reported that jewelry consisting of a ring and two pairs of earrings was missing from her residence. The value of the items was unknown. The incident is pending investigation.
Saturday, Nov. 14, 3:08 pm, Concordia College: A college employee reported that while booking housing for an upcoming softball team trip she received email from what she believed to be the rental company requesting payment. The amount of $1,150 was sent via Western Union to cover the expenses. It was later discovered that the funds had been received by an unknown party posing as the rental company. The incident is pending investigation.
Sunday, Nov. 15, 3:25 pm, HSBC: A debit card found inside the ATM machine was turned in to the police. The owner was notified and it was returned.
Sunday, Nov. 15, 3:46 pm, Pondfield Road: A motor vehicle accident occurred between two cars. There were no injuries. Information was exchanged.
Monday, Nov. 16, 12:17 pm, Concordia College: Police Officer Martin Dentini charged a 36-year-old woman from the Bronx with assault in the third degree after she traveled to Concordia College to confront a female co-worker of her husband's because he had pictures of the woman on his cell phone. The woman struck the other woman several times causing bruising, swelling, and scratches to her face, eye, and neck. The woman was arraigned by Judge Mayer and remanded to the Westchester County jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
