Bronxville Police Blotter: April 6 to April 12, 2016

Wednesday, April 6: A 34-year-old man from the Bronx was charged by Police Officer Michael Lewis for crossing a pavement marking. The 2003 Honda Accord he was operating was impounded and he was released from the scene pending his next court appearance.
Wednesday, April 6, 8:10 pm, Pondfield Road: Police Officer Dave DiBenedetto charged a 26-year-old man from Rye with unlawful possession of marijuana and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree after he was stopped for an inadequate muffler. A vehicle inventory search conducted prior to impounding the 2001 Honda led to the discovery of marijuana. The man was processed at police headquarters and released on $100 bail pending his next court appearance.
Friday, April 8, 7:08 am, Park Avenue: Officers assisted the Eastchester Fire Department with traffic as they confirmed a natural gas leak. The leak was repaired by Con Edison.
Tuesday, April 12, 12:49 pm, NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital: Police responded to a dispute between a female patient and her visiting boyfriend. Officers defused the argument and completed a domestic incident report. The boyfriend left the hospital of his own accord.
Tuesday, April 12, 1:37 pm, Palmer Avenue: Police officers completed a motor vehicle accident information exchange form after a woman caused damage to a gasoline pump while driving away with the gas hose still attached to her vehicle.
