May 25, 2016: This Saturday, May 28, the Bronxville Green Committee will host Take-Back Day from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm behind Bronxville Village Hall on Palumbo Place.
There will be Green Committee volunteers and DPW staff at the site entrance on Palumbo Place to direct residents to the appropriate station to unload their cars. Enter from Gramatan Avenue.
The county paper shredder will be in the Village of Bronxville driveway. No commercial drop-offs are permitted. The drop-off event will occur, rain or shine.
Items acceptable for drop-off are:
Old Linens: Sheets, towels, and blankets to be brought to animal shelters
E-Waste: Electronic devices--computers, monitors, cell phones, printers
Paper Documents: For secure on-site shredding (four-carton limit per car). All paperclips and staples must be removed.
A special thanks to the Green Committee volunteer members, Mayor Mary Marvin - our liaison to the VOB; Allison Roesser and her volunteers; Wayne Ballard and the dedicated and always helpful DPW staff for making this much needed event possible.
