Friday, August 26, 7:52 pm, NYP/Lawrence Hospital: Police officers assisted NYP/Lawrence Hospital security with an unruly patient. The patient agreed to cooperate with staff. No crime was committed.
Monday, August 29, 5:43 pm, Pondfield Road: There was a two-vehicle motor accident. There were no injuries. An information exchange was completed.
Wednesday, August 31, 2:10 am, Pondfield Road: Police officers impounded a 2000 Infiniti that was being operated by a 21-year-old male claiming to be from Tampa, Florida. The vehicle was not registered and did not have insurance.
Wednesday, August 31, 10:05 am, Cedar Street: A gold Schwinn bicycle valued at $300 was stolen from the sidewalk. There had been no lock attached to the bicycle.
Thursday, September 1, 9:01 pm, NYP/Lawrence Hospital: Police officers assisted hospital security with an aggressive patient who had been discharged but refused to leave. The patient left the hospital of his own accord. No crime was committed.
Friday, September 2, 11:43 am, Dusenberry Road: A female resident reported that fraudulent wireless telephone accounts had been opened in her name without her consent, amassing bills over $9,000.
Friday, September 2, 4:22 pm, NYP/Lawrence Hospital: Police officers assisted hospital security with a disruptive family member of a patient who refused to leave when prompted by security. Police officers were able to quell the argument and hospital staff agreed to let the family member stay with the patient.
Friday, September 2, 9:40 pm, CVS: The manager reported that a male had filled a backpack with cosmetic items and passed all points of purchase without paying. The incident is being investigated.
Saturday, September 3, 9:07 am, Midland Avenue: A Bronxville couple reported that a male jogger who is also a Bronxville resident had initiated unwanted physical contact with them on the sidewalk while also jogging. The verbal dispute was resolved by officers. No further police action was requested.
