Bronxville Resident Brian Buttigieg Joins Board of HealthCare Chaplaincy Network

Sep. 14, 2016: Bronxville resident Brian J. Buttigieg has joined the board of directors of HealthCare Chaplaincy Network (HCCN). Buttigieg is chief financial officer of Valerie Wilson Travel, Inc., one of the nation's largest privately owned travel management companies.
The New York-based HCCN is a 55-year-old global nonprofit organization that focuses on education, clinical care, and research related to spiritual care in health care. It staffs the chaplaincy departments at several hospitals in New York, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, NYU Langone Medical Center, and Hospital for Special Surgery, and provides a wide range of spiritual care-related programs and services for both professionals and consumers.

His business acumen and expansive experience will serve us well as we continue to ramp up our programs and services to meet the rising demand for spiritual care in health care settings," said Rev. Eric J. Hall, HCCN's president and CEO.
Buttigieg will serve a three-year term, ending in May of 2019.
Prior to joining Valerie Wilson Travel nine years ago, Buttigieg served at several companies as a senior executive with broad functional experience in operations, finance, and legal and business strategy. He began his career as a lawyer. In Bronxville, he has served as an elder and past chairman of the administration council of The Reformed Church of Bronxville.
