Bronxville Police Blotter: February 26 to March 1, 2017

Sunday, Feb. 26: At 7:07 pm while performing a dark house residence check on Lee Place, officers discovered an unlocked garage door. The homeowner was notified. All appeared to be in order.
Monday, Feb. 27: At 2:33 pm a homeowner on Tanglewylde Avenue reported that three subjects had knocked on the door of his second-floor apartment and asked for an unknown person. When confronted about how they entered the main area of the building, the subjects fled on foot. The incident is being investigated.
Wednesday, March 1: At 10:14 am a homeowner on Westway Road reported that their residence had been entered sometime overnight while they were asleep. There were no signs of forced entry. Several items were stolen. The incident is being investigated.
Wednesday, March 1: At 1:20 pm on Cedar Street, a 60-year-old man was charged by Detective Steve Valentin with Harassment in the 2nd Degree after he initiated unwanted physical contact with a village parking enforcement agent. The man was arraigned and released on his own recognizance pending his next court appearance.
Wednesday, March 1: At 6:45 pm at Concordia College, several female students reported that they have been receiving strange/threatening texts and voice messages from unknown and blocked numbers. The incident is being investigated.
