Tuesday, March 28, 9:30 pm: Officers responded to a loud party on Sycamore Street. Upon arrival, a large group of youths fled the scene in all directions, leaving beer and alcohol containers scattered about the property. Several juveniles were interviewed on scene and released to parents. No one was in need of medical attention.
Wednesday, March 29, 5:07 pm: A previously stolen 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee was located on a dead-end street in New Rochelle. The vehicle was recovered by Bronxville detectives and processed for fingerprints and DNA.
Thursday, March 30, 10:25 am: At Bolton Gardens, a homeowner reported that someone had attempted to steal her bicycle from her front steps overnight, but the chain lock deterred the theft.
Thursday, March 28, 2:47 pm: On Pondfield Road, a Bronxville youth reported that he had become perturbed when an individual, who apparently thought that the youth was recording him with his cell phone, made a hand gesture in the direction of the youth.
Friday, March 31, 2:33 pm: On Summit Avenue, Bronxville police officers responded to a 911 call from a resident on Summit Avenue. The homeowner reported that a subject was attempting to retrieve a UPS package that had been delivered to the address with a different name. Officers arrived quickly while the subject was still on the property. As a result of the subsequent investigation, a 21-year-old man from Yonkers was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree (class D felony) for possessing a gravity knife and having a prior criminal conviction. The investigation regarding possible fraudulent activity is ongoing and may result in further charges at a later date.
Saturday, April 1, 10:48 pm: On Locust Lane, officers responded to a report of a group of youths causing a disturbance. No crime was committed, and the youths left the area of their own accord.
