April 24, 2017, 6:17 am, Midland Avenue: A sixty-year-old Yonkers resident was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree after she was stopped for a stop sign violation. She was processed on scene and released pending her next court appearance.
April 24, 2017, 9:09 am, Midland Avenue: A 41-year-old Yonkers resident was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd degree after she was stopped for speeding in the school zone. A subsequent inquiry regarding her license revealed that her license had nine active suspensions for failure to answer and pay summonses in various jurisdictions. She was processed and released on $250 bail pending her next court appearance.
April 24, 2017, 9:25 am, Pondfield Road: A business owner reported that he had discovered graffiti written in marker on the side of his building. The incident is being investigated.
April 24, 2017, 9:06 pm, Pondfield Road: A 29-year-old resident of Greenbrook, New Jersey, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd degree after he was stopped for a U-turn violation. He was processed and released on $100 bail pending his next court appearance.
April 25, 2017, 12:56 pm, Lawrence Hospital: A female victim reported that she had been harassed by two known persons. The incident is being investigated.
April 26, 2017, 4:47 pm, Parkway Road: The manager of the CapitalOne Bank requested police assistance, reporting that suspicious individuals may have been attempting to complete a fraudulent transaction. Officers responded to assist, and the incident is being investigated by detectives.
April 28, 2017, 2:53 pm, Meadow Avenue: There was a two-vehicle accident with no injuries; an information exchange was completed.
May 1, 2017, 1:58 pm, Prescott Avenue: A homeowner requested that police take a report of an unwanted past employee's being on their property.
May 1, 2017, 6:56 pm, Sagamore Road: Officers quelled a verbal argument between neighbors that reportedly stemmed from one of them not being invited to a community meeting.
May 2, 2017, 4:46 pm, White Plains Road, Police Officer David DiBenedetto: A 31-year-old New Rochelle resident was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd Degree after he was stopped for having inadequate brake lights. He was also cited for an inadequate muffler, for using a vehicle without an interlock device, and for operating as an unlicensed operator. He was processed and released on $100 cash pending his next court appearance.
May 5, 2017, 9:35 am, Kraft Avenue, Police Officer Christopher Blessington: A 61-year-old resident of Bridgeport, CT, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree. The 2010 Toyota Prius was impounded. He was processed and released on his own recognizance pending his next court appearance.
May 5, 2017, 10:32 am, Milburn Street: A business owner reported that a threatening letter had been left in his mail slot. The letter was taken into evidence and the incident is being investigated.
May 7, 2017, 12:15 am, Pondfield Road: A caller reported two males yelling at each other on the sidewalk of Pondfield Road. The men left the scene prior to the officers' arrival.
