Bronxville Chamber Announces Summer 2017 Farmers' Market Every Saturday through November 18

By Nicole Tuck, Executive Director, Bronxville Chamber of Commerce
May 24, 2017: The Bronxville Chamber of Commerce announces the kickoff of this summer's Bronxville Farmers' Market.
Francine Smith, president of the chamber's board of directors, noted, "We are so pleased to provide the Bronxville Farmers' Market as a weekly resource to local residents and businesses looking to support the New York State agriculture movement. Being so close to the city, we forget that New York is an agricultural state. About 23% of the state's land area, or 7 million acres, is used by 36,000 farms to produce a diverse array of products."
"We are happy to have Pascale Le Draoulec as our marketing director to, once again, help run and manage the market. Her years of experience and ongoing relationships with farms and food providers assure visitors to the market of a unique experience each weekend," Smith added.
This year, music will be added to the market's offerings to make it more pleasant to visit the market.
The Bronxville Farmers' Market will be held every Saturday from May 13 through November 18, from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm at Stone Place on Paxton Avenue, right off the northbound ramp to the Bronx River Parkway.
