Mariellen Carpenter and Son Ned Both Graduate from Georgetown

May 31, 2017: Mariellen Sullivan Carpenter and her son Ned had a dual graduation from Georgetown this weekend. Mariellen received a master's degree in real estate, and Ned received a BA in economics. Ned will be returning to the New York area to work at JPMorgan Chase.
Mariellen is a licensed real estate salesperson at Houlihan Lawrence in Bronxville. She is a lifelong resident of Bronxville and a graduate of The Bronxville School and lives in Bronxville with her husband, Noble, president of Capital Markets and Investor Services for Cushman and Wakefield. They have raised four children, of which three have graduated from The Bronxville School and the fourth is in high school.
Mariellen has been an active nonprofit fundraiser, philanthropist, and organization builder for positive social impact. She has volunteered and chaired numerous committees in the Bronxville Elementary, Middle, and High schools, was membership chair of the board of the Junior League, and served three years on the Non-Partisan Committee. Mariellen has an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a BA from Georgetown University. She began her career as a financial analyst at Salomon Brothers and then moved into the field of marketing after business school.
