Monday, June 26, 9:48 pm: Police responded to Normandy Road to resolve a dispute between neighbors. Upon arrival of the police, it was determined that the dispute had been resolved between all involved.
Wednesday, June 28, 1:49 pm: Police responded and detained a 64-year-old New Rochelle man who was caught stealing items from the ACME store at 12-14 Cedar Street. After an investigation, store management decided not to pursue criminal charges and the subject was released from custody.
Wednesday, June 28, 6:03 pm: Police recovered an iPhone on Tanglewylde Avenue and were able to identify the owner and return the phone.
Wednesday, June 28, 8:20 pm: Police responded to the lobby of 3 Alden Place on report of a suspicious male. By the time the police arrived, the male had left the area. A review of village surveillance video revealed the vehicle and license plate number of the subject's vehicle. The investigation is continuing.
Thursday, June 29, 12:12 pm: Police responded to a call about a subject in possession of a counterfeit $100 bill at Starbucks. By the time the police arrived, the subject had left the area. A review of village surveillance video revealed a vehicle, a license plate number, and two subjects in the vehicle. The investigation is continuing and charges are likely against the two individuals.
Friday, July 1, 10:40 am: Police Officer Christopher Blessington arrested a Yonkers man and charged him with driving with a suspended NYS driver license. The man was released on $100 cash bail and directed to appear in the Justice Court of Bronxville on July 7.
Friday, July 1, 11:25 am: Police were called to Lawrence Hospital to assist with an unruly patient. Upon arrival of the police, the patient complied and the situation was resolved.
Friday, July 1, 5:39 pm: Police were called to Lawrence Hospital to assist with a patient who had been discharged but refused to leave the building. Upon arrival of the police, the patient complied and left the hospital.
Friday, July 1, 10:21 pm: Police were called to The Bronxville School to investigate a suspicious occupied parked vehicle. Upon arrival of the police, two subjects were identified and complied with the officers' request to leave the school property.
Saturday, July 2, 2:12 am: While monitoring village surveillance cameras at the police desk, Sergeant William Carroll observed a suspicious subject on Locust Lane. Upon arrival of dispatched officers, the subject fled and was lost after a brief foot pursuit. Assistance was received from the Mount Vernon and Eastchester Police departments. The investigation is continuing.
Saturday, July 2, 1:51 pm: Police responded to a Sturgis Road residence to investigate the larceny of items from a parked motor vehicle. Investigation revealed that sometime between 7/1 at 9:30 pm and 7/2 at 9:30 am, an iPod, a wallet, and currency were stolen from an unlocked Acura parked in the driveway.
