Monday, August 21, 8:42 am, Gramatan Court: A resident reported that her unlocked 2003 Hyundai had been entered overnight. Twenty dollars was stolen from the console.
Monday, August 21, 9:11 am, Parkway Road: A resident reported that a red Trek mountain bike valued at $750 had been stolen from his property.
Monday, August 21, 3:45 pm, Gramatan Court: A resident reported that his unlocked 2002 Dodge had been entered overnight. An unknown amount of loose change was stolen.
Monday, August 21, 6:15 pm, Gramatan Court: A resident reported that her unlocked 2015 Fiat had been entered overnight. A small change purse containing $30 in loose change was stolen.
Monday, August 21, Gramatan Court: Three other vehicles were entered overnight in the area of Gramatan Court. All were unlocked with no alarm set, and no items were reported missing.
Monday, August 21, 10:24 pm, Pondfield Road: A caller reported that an intoxicated male was walking in the roadway near Gramatan Court and that he was in need of assistance. Officers located the male and he was transported to NYP/Lawrence Hospital by EVAC for an evaluation.
Tuesday, August 22, 12:10 pm, Stone Place: A resident reported that his 2010 Chevy Camaro had been damaged by an unknown liquid that had been poured on the hood.
Tuesday, August 22, 12:52 pm, Park Place: A woman reported that her parked vehicle had been struck by another vehicle and that the male driver fled the scene while being flagged down by witnesses to stop. The incident was captured by village surveillance cameras. The driver was identified as an 82-year-old Yonkers resident. On August 23, the driver was issued citations for Leaving the Scene of a Property Accident, Moving Unsafely, Unsafe Backing, Driving Across Hazardous Pavement Markings, Moving from Lane Unsafely, and Disobeying a Stop Sign. All summonses are returnable to the Bronxville Village Court on September 13. A New York State Driver Review was also completed by the officer.
Friday, August 25, 12:33 pm, Sagamore Road: A resident reported that the rear window of her vehicle was shattered. Officers were unable to determine the cause. The vehicle was not entered and no items were missing.
Saturday, August 26, 2:43 pm, Eastbourne: A resident reported that five fraudulent purchases totaling approximately $860 were made at various locations using his credit card information. The incident is being investigated.
Monday, August 28, 9:30 am, Alden Place: Bronxville Village Code violation appearance ticket issued for a gas-powered leaf blower.
Monday, August 28, 10:01 am, Summit Avenue: Bronxville Village Code violation appearance ticket issued for a gas-powered leaf blower.
Monday, August 28, 2:49 pm, Summit Avenue: Bronxville Village Code violation appearance ticket issued for a gas-powered leaf blower.
Thursday, August 31, 9:07 pm, Pondfield Road: A homeowner reported that a black bicycle with white stripes valued at $300 had been stolen from the rear of the homeowner's property. The bicycle had been outside and not protected by a locking device.
Friday, September 1, 2:02 am, Concordia College: A Concordia College security guard requested police assistance to remove a female who refused to leave the campus. The adult female, who was known to the security guard, was verbally combative but complied with officers' orders.
Friday, September 1, 2:16 pm, Elm Lane: A resident reported that a Sprint account had been fraudulently opened in her name and that she received a bill in the amount of $4,536.68.
Sunday, September 3, 6:28 pm, Bronxville Train Station: Police Officer Niger Butler reported that while performing routine patrol, he observed an intoxicated male on the train platform who was unable to care for himself. The male was transported to NYP/Lawrence Hospital via EVAC for evaluation.
Monday, September 4, 12:29 pm, Stoneleigh Plaza: A 69-year-old resident of Bronxville was charged with Public Lewdness (B Misdemeanor) after a female victim reported that he had walked up to the side of her car where she was sitting and exposed himself to her. He was arraigned by Judge McKinnis and released on his own recognizance pending his next appearance date.
Monday, September 4, 11:34 pm: A 41-year-old North Haven, CT, man was charged with Trespass and Harassment. The man was arraigned and issued an order of protection before being released on his own recognizance pending his next court appearance.
Wednesday, September 6, 4:14 pm, 95 Pondfield Road, Citibank: A 35-year-old male was charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 2nd Degree (D Felony) after he attempted to cash a fraudulent check on July 26 at 11:50 am. He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance pending his next court appearance.
Friday, September 8, 1:25 pm, 95 Pondfield Road, Citibank: A 29-year-old man from White Plains was charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 2nd Degree (E Felony) after he attempted to cash a fraudulent check. Officers arrived on scene while he was still in the bank. He was also in possession of a fraudulent debit card and a fraudulent Connecticut driver's license. He was arraigned by Judge McKinnis and released on his own recognizance pending his next court appearance.
