Update on Aug 7, 2020 at 10:45 am: The village of Bronxville sent out the following message regarding roads, power restoration, damaged electrical equipment and cable service.
"A majority of Village Roads are now fully accessible. The By Way and High Road remain closed to through traffic due to temporary repairs made by Con Ed. Valley is currently closed between Pondfield and Prescott while a crane removes damaged trees in danger of falling.
Con Ed is currently assigning restoration times for different areas in the Village and you will likely receive phone and or text messages with this information. We are also driving the Village this morning with our Con Ed Liaison to further verify conditions to expedite these restoration times.
Some important information for residents who had service detached from the residence:
Damaged Electrical Equipment – what’s your responsibility:
While Con Ed is responsible for the service wire, connection point and electric meter you are responsible for the point of attachment, entrance cable and standpipe. You may need to contact an electrician if your items were damaged. The Village recommends reaching out to the State approved Electrical Inspector – Westchester-Rockland Electrical Inspection Services - to assist you in determining your needs (and whether you need an electrician). This will help expedite your restoration for when Con Ed connects your service wire. You can contact Terry Partlandt at:
Office: 914-347-3595 or Cell: 914-384-6759
Verizon and Altice (cable) Service:
Con Ed is responsible for notifying cable providers of downed poles and wires and in coordinating with them when their work is complete (or when an area has been de-energized so that work between the utilities can be performed simultaneously). Due to the severity of the downed Verizon and Altice lines we are providing them lists of locations. However, you can also reach them directly by calling Verizon at 855-661-6323 and Altice at 718-860-3514.
Limb debris: Any limb debris can be brought to the curb and the Village will work to collect as soon as possible."

Update on Aug. 6, 2020 at 1:45 pm: The village of Bronxville sent out the following message regarding storm cleanup:
"The Village continues to be in constant communication with Con Ed and in coordinating the deactivation of downed lines, removal of trees and reopening of all roads. We are also working with the power restoration team to determine when power will be restored to your individual neighborhoods.
While Con Ed is currently estimating restoration times of Sunday afternoon for Westchester County we are working with Con Ed to maintain a crew here in the Village to reduce those estimated times.
If you have not already reported your individual outage to Con Ed it is very important you do so now so that the Village has an accurate map of outages by neighborhood (call 800-75-ConEd).
Please feel free to email us directly with any additional concerns. We will send messages to individual neighborhoods when we get more accurate restoration times.
Please also know that Village Hall and Library are open if you need to charge electronic devices or use internet services.
