May 18, 2022: The regular spring season ended last week, and all the teams celebrated the seniors at their last home games. The Broncos have had an amazing season with every team winning its respective League Championship.
Playoff season began over the weekend, and the Bronxville teams are in a good position to go deep into the playoffs. Girls’ lacrosse and baseball received the No. 1 seed, and the boys’ lacrosse team is seeded No. 2. There will be exciting home playoff games to watch starting yesterday at Scout Field when the baseball team defeated Pleasantville in the quarterfinals.
The playoff season will continue into early June, and the State Championships will take place for the first time since 2019.
See below for the playoff schedule and early results.

There will be single elimination in the quarterfinals and double elimination in the semifinals and finals. The Championship game will take place at Purchase College.

The boys’ lacrosse team finished the regular season with a 10-5 record. They have had an exceptional season defeating nationally-ranked Iona Prep (No. 23) and losing in overtime to nationally-ranked Shoreham-Wading River (No. 9). They are seeded No. 2 in the Class B playoffs behind No. 1 Briarcliff, who the Broncos defeated in overtime last week.
On Friday they will play the winner of No. 10 Dobbs Ferry/No. 7 Haldane at Chambers Field. The semifinals will take place on Tuesday, May 24th at the higher seed.

The girls’ lacrosse team finished the season with a 15-1 record and is expected to go deep into the playoffs. The Broncos are nationally-ranked at No. 11, and their only loss this season was to New Canaan, also nationally-ranked at No. 5. They will play in the sectional quarterfinals on Thursday against the winner of Rye Neck/Dobbs Ferry. The semifinals will take place on Monday, May 23rd, at the higher seed.
With an undefeated record in 2021, the Broncos would have been contenders for the State Championship but the tournament was canceled because of COVID. As the top-ranked Class D team in the state this year, the Broncos are looking to bring home a state title.
