Pet of the Week: Yoshi

Mar. 18, 2015: No living creature should ever be locked in a closet for hours at a time, but that's just what Yoshi's former owner did to him. Thankfully, word of this neglect got out and a compassionate soul came and rescued him from this unacceptable situation.

Unfortunately, this well-intentioned soul had a territorial cat who took her frustrations out on Yoshi and he once again had to be moved to a safer location.

Now in the care of a wonderful rescue group, Yoshi is hoping to find a new and permanent owner with kind arms and a loving heart.

Yoshi is a two-year-old teddy bear who is full of life and affection. Despite all of the hardship Yoshi has endured, his spirit and personality shine brightly. He will enthusiastically show his appreciation for your attention with operatic purrs and entertaining belly rolls.

Yoshi is calm and non-assertive with other cats and good with children, and he is litter-box trained. He is in excellent health and has been neutered, and he tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV. Yoshi is also up to date with his vaccinations.
