Jul. 19, 2017:  Blondie is an American short-hair guinea pig who was surrendered because her former guardian was evicted. Even though she was obese, unsocialized, and housed in a very small cage without even the basic necessities (a hideout, out-of-cage time, and a proper diet), losing the only family she has ever known must have felt like the end of the world. 

Moving Blondie to foster care has made all the difference . . . and in record time. She now gets daily play sessions with her foster brothers, Don, Quizz, and Cyrus (three rats also available for adoption) and even enjoys playing with the resident cats. Bizarre, but true, Blondie loves watching Orange is the New Black with her foster family.  

Given how long this pretty lady has been alone, we are hoping to find her a home that already has one or more guinea pigs to keep her company. This social butterfly deserves all the love in the world to make up for the loneliness and neglect that she's experienced in her young life.
