Pets of the Week: Kittens, Kittens, Kittens

Jun. 6, 2018: Every year around this time you may notice I feature lots of kittens. Each spring, countless kittens are born to either feral or unaltered cats, leaving our local shelters and rescue groups brimming with litters and litters of kittens in need of homes. Did you know that just one unspayed female cat, her mate, and their offspring can produce over two million kittens in just eight years.
Pictured above are Leo and one of the female cats in the care of tlc Rescue. When a litter of black tabby kittens was found, they were homeless, dirty, and hungry. They were rescued by tlc and finally given the love and care they so desperately needed. After a good bath and some proper vetting, they are absolutely stunning, and when the light hits them just right, their tabby patterns clearly jump out at you. There is one female (above) as well as two males left to find homes from this group.
Leo looks like an Osci cat and is a few months older than his foster siblings. He has fallen completely in love with them and is hoping to find a home with one of his best friends. Kittens always seem happier and adjust to their new situations better when they are adopted in pairs.
They are all as sweet and friendly as can be. They are playful during the day and love to curl up together at night and sleep in their foster parents' bed.
All of the kittens are healthy, vetted, and have tested negative for FIV/FELV. The adoption donation for Leo is $100 and the adoption donation for the younger black tabbies is $125 ($200 for a bonded pair.)
