Learn about your gut microbiome at NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital's free lunch and learn series at 1:00 pm in the hospital's lobby conference room. Thursday, March 15, 7:30 am, Ellen Politi, Concordia College Business Breakfast, Marketing the World Cup en Español. Ellen Politi, vice president of affiliate relations at Telemundo, the leading media company for the production and distribution of Spanish-language content worldwide, will share her experiences in international event marketing at 7:30 am in the Pietruski Auditorium on the campus of Concordia College.
Friday, March 16, 7:00 pm, Film Screening, Two Trains Runnin', at Concordia College, with Guest Speaker King Britt. Concordia College's Sluberski Film Series will screen the documentary film Two Trains Runnin' at 7:00 pm in the college's Sommer Center for Worship and the Performing Arts. The film explores 1964's Freedom Summer during the civil rights movement. Composer, producer, DJ, and performer King Britt will be the guest speaker. The event is free and open to the public.
