Jan. 24, 2024: Miloš Balać recently won a Primetime Emmy award for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program for his work on FX/Hulu's documentary series 'Welcome to Wrexham.'

Miloš graduated from Bronxville High School in 2007 and went on to major in American Studies at Cornell University. He then got a Master's Degree in Journalism from the Columbia School of Journalism and, after that, worked for a variety of news organizations and production companies. In these jobs, Miloš honed his skills as a journalist and filmmaker and worked with prominent personalities, including Barack and Michelle Obama, Novak Djokovic, and Jason Wu.

For his documentary series "Welcome to Wrexham," Miloš spent three years in Wrexham, Wales. He said it was "incredibly fun and satisfying to be recognized" for his work as Supervising Producer and Co-Executive Producer on the series, which follows actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney as they take over the third oldest football club in the world.

Miloš younger brother Nikola, an actor who graduated from BHS in 2012, was his "plus one" at the Emmys.

Miloš' parents Mirjana and Miro Balać still live in Bronxville.
