Local Covid Report: Reported Cases in Bronxville Fairly Flat; Cases in Broader Area Up

July 20, 2022:  It's been over a month since MyhometownBronxville included a Covid-19 update in our weekly issue.  But, with many people traveling and gathering, we thought it was a good time to check in on the reported local Covid-19 numbers.  

According to the Westchester County Covid-19 tracker, reported Covid-19 cases in our area are rising.  In the past month, there have been 585 new cases reported in our area.  The largest increase in cases is in Yonkers (408).  Cases in Bronxville have held fairly steady in the past month at 27 as of July 18, 2022.

Sadly, total fatalities in Westchester County from Covid-19 rose this month to 3,027 on July 18 from 3,001 on June 16.

According to the Westchester County Covid-19 Vaccine Tracker, the vaccination rate in zip code 10708 (1 dose) is 89% as of July 15, 2022. Click here for more information.
