Cub Scouts Builds Character, Leadership Skills, Fitness & Citizenship: Information Here

By Rob Deichert, Cub Master, Bronxville Pack 5

June 29, 2022: Cub Scouts Pack 5 Bronxville is open and recruiting new cub scouts. Cub Scouts has programs for kindergarten through 5th grade. Kids (boys and girls) can join at any grade level.

The Cub Scouts earn belt loops throughout the year they learn about nature/conservation, camping, first aid, fitness, citizenship, nutrition, etc. Some of the pack wide events include spring and fall campouts, indoor rock climbing, Pinewood Derby, rain gutter regatta (NEW this year), community service projects, Memorial Day Parade, and soapbox racing. We hold a winter campout which we rotate between Intrepid, Natural History Museum, and Cradle of Aviation.

We hold monthly pack (Friday evenings) and den meetings (coordinated with den leader) as well as pack level activities. Parents are involved in the program and on pack-wide events, siblings are invited as well.

For those entering Middle School next year, they are eligible for the Scouts.
