April 6, 2022: It’s a great day of free music at The Reformed Church on Sunday, April 24—a celebration of tradition and innovation.
In the morning, Handbell Sunday returns to the 10:30am worship service, when the church’s premiere bell group, The Concert Ringers, will lead most of the music. Special guest vocalist Dale Walker is returning to Bronxville to lend her lovely soprano. A special reception will follow at 11:30am to celebrate Handbell Director Lee Corbett’s 34 years of service to the church and community.

At 5:00pm that evening, the electrifying piano duo Guevara & Zhelezova will reprise their pre-pandemic performance at RCB with a free hour-long concert in the Sanctuary. Hailing from Mexico and Bulgaria, respectively, Citlalli Guevara and Slavina Zhelezova will perform works by Brahms, Schubert, Piazzolla and Poulence under the theme, “Reconnecting: Fantasies and Dances.” The award-winning duo has performed around the world, from Mexico and Cuba to Bulgaria and Taiwan, as well as in festivals around the U.S. Their debut CD, Midnight Conversations (Centaur Records), was released in 2017.
All are welcome to enjoy free, inspiring music presented by Music at RCB.
