April 6, 2022: After a two-year hiatus, the Bronxville Rotary Club is excited to be hosting a live gala event to benefit Groundwork Hudson Valley and to honor Robert McGrath with Bronxville Rotary’s coveted Lifetime Community Service Award. The event is on Friday, April 22, which is Earth Day, an appropriate day to benefit Groundwork Hudson Valley, Yonkers, NY.
Groundwork Hudson creates sustainable environmental change in urban neighborhoods through community-based partnerships that promote equity, youth leadership, and economic opportunity. Each year this EPA authorized community group (there are 13 in the US) restores vacant properties, improves water quality in local streams, builds trails, parks, and playgrounds.
Groundwork Hudson was instrumental in facilitating the uncovering of the Saw Mill River in downtown Yonkers.
Please come to our event. If you cannot come, please make a donation. Tickets at $150 each ($75 tax deductible) can be purchased, and donations can be made online at www.bronxvillerotary.com or by sending a check made out to Bronxville Rotary Foundation, noting Groundwork Hudson Valley in the comments section.
